About Me

I am currently a Music Performance Major at the University of North Florida studying classical saxophone with Dr. Michael Bovenzi and jazz with legend Bunky Green. All throughout high school my private instructor was Dale Underwood, the saxophone professor at the University of Miami and Robert Raymond in middle school. Previously I performed in masterclasses for Debra Richtmeyer, as well as many studio masterclasses. I will be going to Carnegie Hall to perform with the University of North Florida Wind Symphony as principle saxophone player. I am an active member of the University of North Florida Saxophone Quartet as well as the Jazz Ensembles. I am competing in the MTNA Young Artist competition in the Fall performing a 30 minute program.

In high school I took part in many festivals including the Florida Tri-State Band/Conducting Conference, All-County bands, and Florida District/State Solo and Ensemble (for quartets and solo pieces earning superiors at the state level every year of high school). Also participated in a local non-profit big band (Paradise Big Band) in Key West playing 2nd tenor and 2nd alto.

I am planning to attend graduate school in the future pursuing a masters in Saxophone Performance.
