My name is Jazz and I am attending the University of Northern Colorado in the fall for my degree in music production with a minor in jazz guitar. I have been extremely passionate about piano and guitar my entire life. I began piano at age 5 and guitar at age 8. I am an aspiring producer/singer songwriter. My style of playing ranges from jazz and r&b to acoustic and folk.

I am beginning my major in music production with a minor in jazz guitar in the fall at the University of Norther Colorado. I have taken advanced theory classes both in high school and online through Berklee College of Music.
Private Education:
I began taking formal piano lessons at the age of 5 and continued until I was 15. I took formal guitar lessons emphasizing in blues, jazz and folk from ages 10 to 18. I participated in band from 6th grade to 12th playing trumpet in both concert and jazz ensembles. I also played guitar in a jazz combo through out my high school career. I have had internships at local studios and theaters mixing and engineering live sound.
Performing Experience:
I have performed in various competitions playing jazz guitar and trumpet. I also participate in "open mic" opportunities at local venues playing guitar and piano.
Experience Teaching:
I taught for a local studio from February to December of 2016 teaching 9 students once a week for 60 minutes. After my contact with the company was finished, I continued to recruit students of my own and teach 4 lessons a week from January to May of 2017. I taught piano and guitar to adults and children of skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced.

Jasmine was an exemplary employee to have on my team. She worked around 25 hours per week, while still in high school, balancing after school curriculars as well as an internship at a local music venue. Her attitude and dedication to her job never diminished, and she was a fantastic role-model for the other associates every shift. She was always willing to put in extra hours on short notice, train new employees, and lend a helping hand where needed. Jasmine's passions for music and teaching were evident within minutes of meeting her.
