What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
For bass lessons, please refer to the layout of my guitar lessons. Depending on the student lesson content will include learning how to produce sound from the instrument to basic music theory, the instrument's role in modern music, and advanced performance techniques (slapping, tapping, etc.).
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Advanced lessons assumes the student is fluent in scales, chords, performance techniques, and a basic knowledge of music theory. We will apply more advanced music theory to songs and personal compositions while developing a solid performance technique. Students will learn more sophisticated repertoire.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Intermediate lessons focus on developing understanding of basic music theory concepts, such as the circle of fifths, chord function and harmony, substitutions, positions, and sight reading. Performance techniques will be developed by learning more extended techniques, while the student applies these techniques to their songs and repertoire.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner lessons will include an interview of the student to absorb their personality and preferences. For example: What kind of music you enjoy, and what you want to with this instrument? For absolute beginners, my lessons begin with holding the instrument and producing sound, dexterity exercises for the left and right hands, and familiarizing oneself with the fret boar Next we will learn basic scales, chords, and songs, with a focus on melody and harmony.
