My name is Tyler and I'm an avid drummer with years of experience from small bar shows to full-scale festivals, ready to share with you everything I know! What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect day-by-day instructions and progress on learning the basics of the instrument, maintenance and care, tuning and head replacement, proper hand/foot techniques, rhythmic practices, aural rhythmic placement, stances of player and instrument, and of course, how to play wickedly cool drum solos! We'll be sure to monitor and develop your progress by having weekly demonstrations and little "tests," practice to everyone's favorite... a metronome, and get you to a level where you con proficiently compose drum/percussion to your own songs, with a band, or even play along to your favorite songs!
Formal Education:
High school Diploma and studies in Graphic Design for 2 years.
Performing Experience:
Been Playing shows since i was 16 in high school. I've played shows anywhere from local clubs to big festivals, like warped tour and fortrock.
Experience Teaching:
I've taught local friends and families how to play.
