I began piano lessons in Kindergarten and stopped playing when I went to college. I returned to my music studies and moved into teaching in 2007, began teaching piano and music theory shortly thereafter, then picked up teaching voice in 2010. For students who are interested in a national learning program I am associated with the Music Development Program, the US affiliate of the Royal Conservatory of Music. I have had students test up through level 5 in piano. The program builds well rounded musicians and gives students who have the drive a path to complete their associates degree in music.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I enjoy helping students find a connection with their music, this leads to a different path with each student. The Royal Conservatory of Music's program, known as the Music Development Program in the U., is a method of study that focuses on ensuring a well-rounded musician the opportunity to advance through the program and earn an Associates Degree or Teaching Certificate for those that follow the program to completion.

Royal Conservatory of Music Pedagogy Certificate, RCM Advanced Music Theory
Experience Teaching:
Teaching piano since 2007, preparing students for the Royal Conservatory's exams in music theory since 2012 and piano since 2009.
