What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

I teach writing formulas, rhythm and rhyme schemes, emotional differentiation between parts of songs, etc through experimentation and aid in the genre(s) the student is interested in.

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

I am a walking encycIopedia of vocal knowledge, and have dedicated my life to the craft. My golden standard is to teach correct vocal technique, healthy practice technique, range building, harmony perception, dynamic/emotional presentation, etc. through excises and songs assigned to the student. My students give me a list of artists, and I choose songs from those artists for the assignments. I choose those I believe to have greater educational and technical value for the singer. I seek to create singers that know their voice as they know their own family or best friend. Dissecting songs and the techniques in them creates a more diverse and confident singer.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

I teach correct finger/hand position, music theory, scales, improvisation, sheet music reading, and songs by artists the student is interested in.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

I teach correct technique, tab reading, music theory, all chords and inversions, correct strumming and finger picking technique, and songs by artists the student is interested in.

Performing Experience:

Vonti's journey in the music industry began as the first and sole live singer for the globally recognized instrumental band Polyphia, emerging from the vibrant DFW music scene. Building on this foundation, he went on to front the Dallas-based rock/metal acts Lightfall and Vita Versus, recording vocals for two EPs, one LP, and two singles. These releases garnered high praise from critics and amassed hundreds of thousands of streams, solidifying Vonti's reputation as a standout independent artist. In 2019, Vonti joined forces with the esteemed DFW pop/R&B/rap studio Never Satisfied Studios, whose impressive clientele includes French Montana, Swae Lee, and Eric Bellinger. Collaborating with the producer Dielog, Vonti's ghostwriting clients experienced exceptional production, breathing life into their musical visions. Notably, Vonti's two remarkable EDM/Dubstep collaborations with Decadon, "Love and Regret" and "Dangerous," achieved incredible success, amassing over 5 million streams across platforms. These releases soared to the impressive position of #24 on Beatport's international dance music charts, cementing Vonti's prowess in the electronic music realm. Vonti's early musical achievements reveal his exceptional talent as a vocalist and flutist. In 2012, he secured the prestigious 2nd chair baritone spot in the Texas all-state choir and showcased his remarkable flute skills as an all-area flutist in 2011 and 2012. Additionally, Vonti has graced the stage in notable musical productions such as Sweeney Todd, Les Misérables, and Urinetown, further exemplifying his versatility as a performer. Under the alias Vonti, this emerging artist embraces a fresh branding that embodies his identity as a solo artist in the realms of pop, R&B, and Neo-soul. Drawing inspiration from influential musicians like Jon Bellion, Charlie Puth, The Kid Laroi, Usher, Justin Bieber, Chris Cornell, and Panic! at The Disco, Vonti fearlessly crafts lyrics that delve into the realities, struggles, and fleeting happiness experienced by artists

Review:

Very Happy.

I had been getting voice lessons prior to this. and it was ok. but I wasn't really completely comfortable. and I wasn't really happy with the direction it was going. I felt like I was being taught to sing in a way and in a genre that I didn't want to sing. Hunter really made me feel like what I wanted to accomplish is his main priority. which is exactly what I was looking. he is extremely professional while being very relaxed and easy to talk to and work with. If I could give 10 stars I would. Ben wrote on Tue, 19 Sep 2017
