I recently graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Contemporary, Urban, and Popular Music. I studied guitar as my primary instrument, and have played for 12 years. In addition to teaching my own private students, I have also taught at Doctor Woods Guitar Emporium and School of Rock Chicago.

I like to find out what a student wants to get out of their experience learning an instrument. Do you want to become a famous rock star, or just be able to strum a few chords around the fire? Do you want to shred a blues solo, or learn to read a jazz chart? From there, we can decide how to achieve your musical goals while having fun playing.
