While I do not often perform on piano, I am proficient on the instrument and play it daily in my home. What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner -
I have experience in helping students with vocal technique, intonation, music theory, phrasing, jazz improvisation, riffing and much more.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I will assist students in preparing music for recitals, concerts, or just self enjoyment. I am knowledgeable in many subjects including: technique, reading music, reading chord symbols, jazz piano voicings, etc.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I have written music for small and large ensembles for more than 10 years. If you are interested in sharpening skills in the following areas: lyric writing, writing clear lead-sheets for musicians, understanding ranges/tendencies of instruments, arranging music, compositional techniques etc.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner -
I grew up playing in wind-ensemble and orchestra from middle school through the end of my doctorate at the University of Miami and the Juilliard School. If you are interested in preparing music for orchestral auditions, solo/ensemble competitions, school performances, etc please contact me. I am skilled in helping students sharpen their technique, reading music, understanding music theory, performance skills, stage anxiety and many other areas.
