I am a product of a musical family-both of my parents are piano teachers-my brother is an award winning emmy winner for doing sound effects and music for the us open-my grandmother was in Finian's Rainbow on Broadway and my Dad was with the group called the Bell Tones and has lots of experience doing professional singing.

Helene Si is proficient in and teaches Keyboard and Piano Lessons .Formal Education:
-graduate of Hofstra University
Private Education:
I took private piano lessons from age 5-21, private violin lessons from age 8-40, and private flute lessons from age 10-30
Performing Experience:
Most of my performing was done in school bands and orchestras-I did play flute with the Nassau County Pops and have played different piano gigs. I play at my own recitals.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching privately for over 20 years. I started teaching privately part time when I was in high school and started teaching privately full time 20 years ago. I teach piano, flute and violin lessons, all ages 5 and up including adults. I teach all levels from begginner to advanced. I train for NYSSMA College Auditions and College Scholarships. I teach all types of music from Classical to Rock and Pop.
