I am a self-taught guitar and piano player. I studied music theory through Alfred's training books. I've been playing for over 14 years, and I gained my teaching experience while working for Hands On Atlanta where I was a math and reading tutor and alternative education service leader. While there, my teammates and I instructed several different afterschool clubs at various schools around Atlanta for K-9 children, including guitar, chess, gardening, and math. I went on to earn a diploma of musicianship at the Atlanta Institute of Music where I studied Audio Engineering and Production and was able to gain insight into the guitar curriculum as well. Since then, I've worked at the Back Draft Beats Studios in Atlanta and Guitar Center and was able to teach some customers though private lessons for guitar and keyboard/piano. I have also been personally training with a vocal coach for three years and would be happy to share all that I know and I am open to learning and growth.
