My son has been taking bass lessons with Rich for the past several years and we can't say enough good things! Rich is an amazing instructor...patient, kind, talented, and truly wants to see his students develop into well-rounded musicians. I highly recommend Rich for anyone wanting to learn or is already playing the guitar/bass! Rich Grado wrote on Sat, 14 Oct 2017

"Our son began guitar lessons with Rich 6 years ago, with no prior instruction on the guitar. To this day, his weekly lesson with Rich remains one of the highlights of his week. A knowledgeable, highly skilled and effective teacher, Rich takes a personal interest in his students, makes learning fun and interesting and patiently builds a solid foundation of learning and skill development paced to his students' abilities. Over the years, Rich has been a teacher, friend and mentor to our son and made a remarkable contribution to his understanding of music, his ability to play at the highest skill levels and confidence to play in public venues." Rich Grado is a great music teacher. He has the rare ability to match the material being taught to the student's learning style and musical likes, while still teaching the theory that will be the basis of future advanced work and of course, the physical skills. He is one of a kind, and an excellent musician in his Rich Grado wrote on Sat, 14 Oct 2017

Rich is such a great guitar player. Humble and Kind as the song goes. I started taking guitar lessons from him about a year and a half ago starting at age 68, believe it or not. Even at my age, he has me playing so much better than I ever did before. He is very patient with me and also challenging. It's been a lot of fun! I'm always amazed at how well he can play and how versatile he is. I really look forward to my weekly lesson. I'd recommend him to teach anyone in any genre on guitar, bass, ukulele, banjo-you name it! Rich Grado wrote on Sat, 14 Oct 2017

As someone who has played piano for twenty-six years and has had many music teachers, I have never had a music teacher quite like Rich Grado. I was a little apprehensive about picking up a new instrument at age 31, but Rich has made the transition into learning a new instrument very easy. His instruction is clear, and he always pushes me to reach my fullest potential. I would recommend Rich to anyone who wants to learn how to play the guitar!"- Rich Grado wrote on Sat, 14 Oct 2017

Rich has been a great teacher to me. I started working with Rich two years ago learning how to play the acoustic guitar. Rich is a great and knowledgeable teacher. Rich breaks things down for novice players to understand and helps you see why the chords are played the way they are. I'd recommend Rich to anyone whose been playing a few years or just starting out like how I did. Rich Grado wrote on Thu, 16 Nov 2017

Kevin O'Roark Rich is a great guitar/music teacher, mentor, guide, coach and I highly recommend him if you want to get off on the right track and take your playing to another level. Hi I'm Jim and I'm an intermediate level player that has studied and worked much on my own and with other teachers. I took a series of lessons to address my goals, went away to do the work and am coming back for another round. In my guitar journey I have sought out teachers throughout the US and Rich and his presentation of his CAGED OS system has made the single biggest impact on my guitar playing and musicianship. His CAGED OS System—all of it: The notes on the fret board, octave shapes, chord, chord tones, intervals, scale, arpeggios and the solfege-the sounds of the notes Rich also coaches technique, strategy for learning songs singing the solfege, the scale degrees, the notes. As a Graduate of The Prestigious Berklee College of Music and a seasoned local professional player, Rich is: Patient, very easy going Encouraging Calm. Assuring. A Masterful teacher Get serious about your playing and have fun! Sincerely, Jim W. “Rich is a great guy! Super talented, patient & friendly! Go see him” Nikki K. This is the Guy to See !!
