Hi, I've been a teaching artist in Cleveland since 2006 and teach beginning guitar, piano, voice, songwriting and beginning and intermediate ukulele both in groups or for individuals of all ages!

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students of all levels will learn how to write lyrics and about different musical song forms. I've taught songwriting for 10 years all over Northeast Ohio. I have written over 160 songs many for children and several dozen for adults. My work was presented at a Kennedy Center for the Arts residency at the University of Notre Dame in 2017 with musician Todd Rundgren. I demonstrated my approach for teachers and students.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students will work through basic beginner to intermediate lesson books on my professional keyboard (if lesson at my home studio). After we select a book from my collection that is the right match, students will independently purchase their book to practice at home between lessons.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students will learn basic chords, strumming, different rhythms, reading note, and playing songs of their choice. They work toward singing and performing for others! This is a fun way to learn the basics and be able to play on your own! I go at the student's pace for each lesson.
