What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
A very hands on approach. I always ask at the beginning of the lesson what goal the student wants to accomplish and then I teach accordingly. I often demonstrate the desired skill, break it down verbally and physically, and then have the student try it at their own pace. I'm very laid back and enjoy making students laugh and feel comfortable.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner - Intermediate
I make sure that the student has a thorough understanding of recording terminology and equipment before getting too involved in the programs. I'll quiz the student on topics we reviewed and allow them to take on as much as they can retain based off their quiz results, this makes them hungry to learn more. I run a in-home studio that I use as a space for students to learn the basics of the recording process. On the production end I require that students produce multiple styles of music, listen to mainstream songs and breakdown the arrangement/instruments used, and stay up to date with the latest technologies used in the industry.
