My name is Charlton. I am a 24 year old musician in Nashville, TN. I have rigorous experience in songwriting, composition, theory, guitar and vocal training. I have a BA in music theory and composition from UTC with an applied study in guitar. I grew up traveling with my family for the sake of musical careers and have been apart of the stage and entertainment my entire life. I find enjoyment in all musical genres and cultures. I believe the more educated you are about the entirety of your craft the better you will express yourself musically and cognitively. My goal is to reach yours.

Charlton Mo is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Vocal Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .Formal Education:
Regular lessons started at the age of 6 rigorously learning piano and guitar. I traveled with my father my entire childhood being exposed to the industry at an extremely young age. Formally I've recently graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BA in Music Theory and Composition with an applied study in guitar and composition. Cadek Conservatory opened my mind to the art of education, discipline and personal reward in ways that will follow along side my love for music for the rest of my life. While in school I had up to 15 students at one time around the community of downtown and north Chattanooga. I tend to create the long term and short term goals of my lessons around what the student wants to learn the most. This keeps motivation much higher than to just force form and theory the first week. If the student wants to learn a cover song to practice over the weekend then I encourage it.
Private Education:
I have studied privately with several teachers however in school I studied for my BA under world renowned Cuban composer and classical guitarist Dr. Mario Abril and American composer Dr. Johnathan McNair.
Performing Experience:
I have been on 3 nationwide rock tours with a group of various pop artist under Friday publishing. I've had some local jobs with Jazz combos in Atlanta, GA post college. I have music theater experience ranging from high school, collegiate and community theater. I honestly don't remember a time in my life where I wasn't on stage. It runs deeply in my family.
Experience Teaching:
While in school I taught around the community for the extra cash while in school. It was always private lessons at my own home or the students. I have teaching experience from a job with Chamber's Music shop in Murfreesboro, TN
