Experience Teaching:

Aaron Started teaching drums around 15 years old as his neighborhood and friends requested. This led to taking more students and studying Music more effective and efficiently. As he was becoming extremely versed in Drums, it was hard to find players his age, so I began seeking out older musicians to perform/jam with. To supplement this he began studying other Instruments like Guitar and Bass and eventually Keys/Piano and voice. As he became more proficient and educated in these Instruments, he was recommended as an Instructor by peers, Music stores, other Music Instructors, High School Choir teacher, and even the Music Department at the College he was attending. He was hired as a site Conductor for an after School Orchestra program to keep Youths off the street in Low Income areas. HeI taught Drums, Guitar, Keyboards and supervised the Instrumental Instructors (Including Woodwind & String teachers) over 3 schools and 120 students. After Moving to Houston, he was hired the following year as a GM, Music Director and Lead Instructor for a Performance based Global Music Franchise. During all of this, he taught in a variety of styles, Instruments, ages/maturity levels, demographics, and backgrounds. He tailored/tailors his programs/curriculum to fit, challenge and encourage each student to ensure progress. Finding common grounds and creating appeal to specific material to bridge any gaps.
