About Me
I am Fort Collins local who was involved in the local music scene a lot pre pandemic. Since then I have taken to further my education woth audio engineering and music at FRCC, soon to transfer to CU Denver. I have played live, recorded songs, and mixed as a DJ over the last few years. My skill set lies mostly in rudiments and early education with a touch of further complexity, I am by no means a master of my craft, but we all learn a little more everyday if we allow ourselves, maybe I can help you or a loved one learn a thing or two!

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

You will learn how to play Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd proficiently by the end of 5 sessions. Until this can be played one should not expect to learn any fingering positions, chords, scales, or theory. Think of the VanWay as a kind of "wax on, wax off" method. This song is all recognizable, simple, and complex. By learning just this one song students will approach the gate of knowledge with the key of understanding simple chords, simple finger/fret placement, intricate scale work, and melodic rhythm. From that point on it will be easier for me as an instructor to teach you, the student, and easier for you, the student, to grasp the frustrating and sometimes seemingly impossible concepts of music theory. "Sometimes you have to run before you can walk"-Tony Stark

Formal Education:

Experience Teaching:

I've taught many friends and family members how to play guitar, I'm currently teaching another the drums (best that I know). Was the lead bass in choir through high school and often directed my section but really we were all learning together. I'm self taught.
