As a Board Certified Music Therapist, working for the betterment of people is my greatest passion. I am able to provide adaptive lessons for individuals with cognitive/developmental delays of all ages, as well as typically developing individuals who just want to hone their craft, learn a new skill, or build confidence in performing. I have been a musician/performer for 22 years, and currently sing in the Colorado Symphony Chorus in the soprano section. In addition to studying voice in my undergrad, I have profienct skills in piano, accoustic guitar, autoharp, and basic percussion, and can help foster song writing skills in a safe and accepting enviroment.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
High energy, positive, engaging, and encouraging environment where students will develop fundamental music skills including basic music theory, healthy playing technique, repertoire of their choice, as well as basic training in performing in front of an audience.
Formal Education:
Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy from Texas Woman's University; primary instrument was Voice.
Private Education:
Received private Voice lessons for 11 years, as well as 2 years of private guitar lessons, not including udergraduate music studies.

Providing music therapy is my main area of experience and experitise for over 3 years. I have had several clients of various ages who recieved keyboard and voice lessons from me. Because I am a board certified music therapist, I am able to provide support and adaptive equipment/teaching style to accommodate their specific needs.
