I have been playing violin for about 30 years and bass, keys, and guitar for four years. I teach consistency in the fundamentals while also paying keen attention to the specific needs and obstacles of each student. I can help the student who is looking to get started from the very beginning, the student looking develop their classical skill and I can also help the student looking to develop their sound in soul/pop/rock styles.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Everything will be tailored to your goals so we will talk a lot about goals in the first lesson or two. Also, I have us do a fair amount of warm-up exercises. We will work toward workshopping songs with the goal of performing, so there will be a song or piece you are focused on primarily for personal practice. I typically use Suzuki or Essential Elements books.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
We will work on lutting together chords, transitions, and lyrics to write a song together. Then we will brainstorm and get you started writing your own song. I am also here to help you work on songs you have already started!
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Everything will be tailored to your goals so we will talk a lot about goals in the first lesson or two. Also, I have us do a fair amount of warm-up exercises. We will work toward workshopping songs with the goal of performing, so there will be a song or piece you are focused on primarily for personal practice. I am also happy to help with the promotion and recording sides of the music industry.
