Hello! I'm Christian, a guitarist born and raised in Cincinnati. I've practiced and performed music for 13 years, and am ready to start teaching others! My teaching style will be focused on the area that YOU want to pursue-there are so many ways to play the guitar! This could include tricks for soloing, creating interesting songs, understanding music theory, or learning fringe percussive techniques! I enjoy everything from finger-picking covers of pop songs to progressive metal. Let's rock!

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
My song writing lessons are a crash course into music theory for guitar. We'll learn the differences between scales, modes, and chord structures-essential information for song writing. You'll be able to know how to make every chord on the guitar and which chords will complement your song! I'll also show you an easy method on how to play along to any song by ear.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
First, I'll ask about which areas of the guitar that you need help with-anything from fingering barre chords, to understanding the mechanics of finger-picking, to mastering complex techniques of a riff. I'll find out your personal tastes in music and do my research to find a song you like for each lesson that specifically addresses your challenge! We'll work to break down the elements of the song or technique, and I'll give you a special takeaway sheet to practice for the next lesson.
