I have been playing guitar for about 11 years now. My musical influences include artists like Ed Sheeran and I also enjoy Adele.I love Classical and Spanish Fingerstyles as well. My teaching style can best be described as very thorough and understanding. In my lessons, you can expect to learn-The Parts of the Guitar-Major and Minor Chords-Strumming and Fingerpicking-Tablature Reading music for Guitar and much more!. My favorite thing about teaching is definitely watching my students progress. My favorite performance was performing Christmas songs at a local church. My students love that I am very flexible with my schedule and explain things very clearly. I primarily teach online right now due to covid. My overall goal is for all my students to succeed. My daughter, age 9, had been taking guitar classes with a local face to face teacher for a year yet I felt that she hadn't accomplished much. Through a series of questions from Tanesha she was able to create and tailor the lessons that best suited her learning skills & her skill level. In the other class, she hadn't even played a full song. However, through Tanesha she was able to play happy birthday just in time for her Grandmother's bday with in a month. She is also very good at informing you of their progress. This was our first time taking online classes and it has been a wonderful experience thus far. I highly recommend Tanesha! Today was day 1 of my lessons!! Tanesha was sheer joy. I put the 'B' in beginner!! She was so very patient and personable. She made me feel comfortable. She kept making me smile.
