What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
My song writing classes will teach students how to write for their instrument as well as other instruments in the band / group. They can expect to learn chord progressions, melodic writing, and other topics along the subject of the lessons. Students can also expect to learn how to transcribe and arrange existing songs, as well as analyzing and discussing music.
What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
My bass lessons will teach the student the function of the bass guitar in a band scenario, how to properly play and perform on bass, and how to write for the bass. Along with scales, arpeggios, and other techniques, a student will learn how to transcribe music or play by ear, and the student will also learn how to read sheet music and tablature. Expect some theory lessons as well as other lessons that will aid a student in their performing outside of the lesson.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
My students can expect to learn how the guitar works, how it functions in a musical setting, and how to write with it. Along with practicing things like scales, chords, and other techniques, the student can also expect to learn how to transcribe or learn by ear, read sheet music and tablature, and other things that will benefit them when stepping outside of the lesson and playing in a performance scenario.
