Amir began playing drums at the age of 9. Over the years, he developed his skills further by self-training and playing in the Rachel B. Noel middle school band. In 8th grade, he was recruited by the director of the Montbello Drumline for which he joined and lead as Captain for four years. He gained performance experience all over Colorado by playing at such venues as the Pepsi Center and Vail with acts such as "The Flobots". Though Amir can teach many different types of music, his personal favorites are southern style corpse drumming and performance, which have had great influence on his style of playing. Alongside drumming, Amir has also spent the last 7 years gaining experience in the field of producing, recording and writing music. He is able to teach the fundamentals of creating your own sound in a recording studio as well as a basic workflow for any musical productions. Amir loves music because it is a second nature to him and loves teaching music because he enjoys being able to bring the best talents out of his students.
