Hi, my name is Emanuel and I am a drummer from Tallahassee, FL. I have been a student of music for about 22 years. My musical influences include my family and other great drummers such as Tony Roysters Jr., Dennis Chambers, and Calvin Rodgers just to name a few. I also enjoy producing arrangements and creating my music. My teaching style can best be described as energetic and patient. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that everyone that I reach understands the flow and theory of the music you are playing! In my lessons, you can expect to learn discipline and pocket drumming as well as learning to have fun while playing! I like to tell my students that you don't have to be flashy or have the fastest hands to be considered great or a good drummer. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to pass on the knowledge and secrets I've gained over the years as a professional musician. My favorite performance is every time I sit down behind the drum kit!!! I absolutely love drums. My students love that I can adapt to any style and that I'm always having fun. I primarily teach percussion instruments, but I can also teach music production and music performance.
