I have taught guitar and bass to people of a wide range of ages for over 3 years now and it has been an incredible joy for me. I started playing guitar about 12 years ago and bass about 10 years ago, and I have an experience playing a wide range of genres including rock, jazz, classical, blues, funk, and even metal. I love to get students playing simply songs as soon via tablature as possible so they can actually feel the fulfillment of playing music they like before getting bored of their instrument. Then, if they desire, we can get into more technical aspects such as reading sheet music, music theory, and improvisation.
Samuel B. has over 4 years of music experience in the Littleton area.
Samuel B. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons .Degree and Field of Study:
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
I usually start out with showing students how to read tablature because it's an easy way for them to start playing simply songs that they love. In the process, I apply concepts of music theory and pedagogy that are relevant to them, whether it be reading sheet music, scales and chords, or different techniques.
What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
As with my guitar students, I get my bass students started out by showing them how to read tablature so they can actually get the sensation of playing a song, and apply relevant concepts of music theory and pedagogy in the learning process.

Ann Kleinhans
To whom it may concern: I am pleased to have the opportunity to recommend Sam as a teacher, musician and person. He is a great listener who is sensitive to his student’s needs. Sam is hard working, precise and responsible. He sets high expectations for himself, is responsible and punctual. During the summer of 2016 Sam was guitar and voice teacher for my 11 year old daughter. My daughter was a hesitant student but he gently brought her out of her shell. Sam understood Ursula and gently met her at a place where she could find courage to work, explore and learn. After the first lesson her resistance was gone and she enthusiastically engaged with lessons. She went from” just a kid” to a music student. As a result of Sam’s instruction, she’s able to go confidently into middle school choir and general music. I recommend Sam to anyone who seeks a caring educator, responsible employee, experienced communicator or talented artist. Sincerely, Ann Kleinhans Ann Kleinhans wrote on Mon, 30 Nov -0001
