Hi, my name is Richard and I am a World Class Drumline Snare, Pianist, Guitarist, and Recording Engineer from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have been a student of music for 13 years. My musical influences include Gene Krupa, Mozart, and I also enjoy many genres of music. My teaching style can best be described as easy and progressional. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I will get you to the point of your own comfortably with playing whatever you fulfill. In my lessons, you can expect to learn many methods to playing and reading music. I like to tell my students at least practice whenever you have a free schedule. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the progression in the individual and striving for more lessons and techniques. I don't just primarily teach I want the individual to become capable of writing his or her own piece of music.
