Hi, my name is Kevin, and I am a Bassist from Denver, CO. I have played Bass for about 18 years and I have toured all across the U.S. playing in bands or doing my solo bass act. I enjoy many genres of music but my favorites are math-rock, punk, progressive, and jazz. My teaching style can best be described as versatile, because I can show you many styles and techniques fitting for every genre. In my lessons, you can expect to learn many different beginner/advanced Bass techniques such as finger tapping, finger plucking or strumming, slap bass, or using a pick, whatever you prefer. I will also be teaching what the notes are and where they are on the instrument, including various scales and keys. I like to tell my students that practice is vital and the best way to get better is repetition. I primarily teach Bass, but I can also teach beginner to intermediate Guitar.
