Michael W. Br.

Born and raised in Fort Worth, TX, Michael began playing guitar at the age of 14, and played in various groups through high school and college.  He began playing professionally in 1990, and has been playing professionally ever since.  He moved to Nashville in 1992, and shortly thereafter was a founding member of the band that eventually changed their name to Lonestar which had a record deal with BNA Records from 1995-2007.  Lonestar has sold over 10 million records to date, and is still touring extensively in the US and Worldwide. 

Although self-taught, Michael has learned quite a bit through the years and has a practical, working knowledge of blues, rock, and country styles.  He also has extensive knowledge about gear and tone and use of effects, etc., but feels the primary goal of playing music is to convey emotion and the use of nuance and vibrato and other techniques often take precedence over number of notes.  As a songwriter, Michael has had a top 10 song and numerous album cuts and knows that highlighting the song is one of the primary focuses of playing guitar.  Michael is available when his tour schedule permits.
