Music is my family's business... I began singing and started taking piano lessons from my cousin at the age of 10. From there I started snare drum in the middle school band. My father aided me in this for he is a retired band director. I purchased my first drum set when I was 13. During high school, I played in the school band, as well as, the jazz band. Throughout public school, I participated in Solo and Ensemble and All-State Concert and Jazz Band, doing exceptionally well in both. After high school, I joined the Marine Band as was stationed in New Orleans and Okinawa, Japan. I returned to North Alabama in 2005. At this time, my younger brother Evan had become an excellent bass player in his own right. My mother plays piano and my older brother is a former assistant band director. Currently, I am in Huntsville, AL.
