Jatiece has always loved music from an early age. She began singing at the age of 5 and continued her education by graduating from Rollins College with a bachelor’s in music. Her musical influences include Western art, jazz, gospel and rhythm and blues. Jatiece's favorite thing about music is that it’s such a creative and beautiful way to express yourself. Her favorite thing about teaching music is being able to pass along the knowledge and passion for music to the next generation. One of her favorite teaching experiences was when students began to develop a passion for music and willing to learn more.
