Matthew began playing the piano at the age of ten. Over the years, he developed his skills further by studying at Combs College of Music in Philadelphia, PA. and Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia. He gained performance experience in the Southeast and Northeast by playing with major recording artists such as Billy Joe Royal, Johnny Taylor, Solomon Burke, The Manhattans and many others. He is also a recording artist himself. Matthew enjoys all kinds of music and can teach many different genres of music including, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country and Classical. Matthew loves music because his dad was a singer and loves teaching music because he loves seeing a musical talent grow.
