I started playing music at age 11 in the school band. At age 13 I started playing the drums and I knew it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Fast forward fifteen years and I now have 5 extensive nationwide tours under my belt as well as numerous east coast and midwest tours and 7 international tours to Canada amounting to over 350 shows over the last 5 years. I view the prospect of teaching people how to play the drums the same way as I do creating, recording, and performing: as a way to share something I am passionate about as well as to help proliferate and encourage musicians worldwide to participate, create, and innovate to keep music alive and growing. I also expect it to help further solidify and reinforce my own skills as a drummer and percussionist. My main focus in music has been variations of rock, but I also have experience with and appreciation of jazz, pop, hip hop, and latin music.
