Hi, my name is Rosa and I am a student from Houston, TX. I have been a student of music for 10 years beginning in middle school! My musical influences include Martin Frost and Benny Goodman and I also enjoy Shostakovich. My teaching style can best be described as fun yet instructive. My teaching philosophy can best be described by that I want my students to propel in their abilities but also enjoy what they're doing at the same time. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to build your tone quality and improve your technique. I like to tell my students anything is possible with enough dedication. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students having fun playing clarinet! My students love that I can be easy-going with them, but still get things done.
