Nikki is currently the explosive drummer for the band Mempis May Fire. His ballistic stage set-ups and stage presence have made him a dominant force in the music scene. Nikki was born in Dallas, Texas, in December of 1985. He began playing in competitions at the early age of eight. Nikki played in many amateur shows while growing up. At the age of sixteen, he turned pro, when he landed an audition as the house drummer for a local night club. From then on, Nikki was the rhythm section for artists from all over the world. He continued his musical endeavors while attending Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from SMU in 2006.Completing his academic career; Nikki has rapidly built a reputation both locally and nationally, as a professional performer. From 2006 on, Nikki became the hired drummer for many artists. However, in 2009, he joined long time friends, Memphis May Fire.

With an extensive number of tours, over 700 shows, and a growing number of recording credits under his belt, it does not appear that Nikki is backing off anytime soon. In addition to being a musician, he prides himself on being a performer. In a recent interview, he was quoted as saying, “I love the lights, I love the sound, and I love the energy. The crowd is only going to be as wild as the act performing. Therefore, I believe that if you are going to play a show, then make it an event. Otherwise, people are going to talk to their friends, go get drinks, whatever. So, go crazy or go home.”
