Hi, my name is Paula and I am a pianist from Fredericksburg, VA. I have been a student of music for 16 years. My musical influences include Chopin, Beethoven and I also enjoy Pop, Rock. My teaching style can best be described as straightforward and fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described as focusing on building technical and musicality skills. In my lessons, you can expect to learn solfege and scales. I like to tell my students that they can do it, just take one step at a time. My favorite thing about teaching is enlightening my students with my musical knowledge! I primarily teach beginners and young students, but I can also teach adults. What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect a warm introduction into classical works. I will introduce students to solfege, how the piano keys are constructed, and introduce students to learn a few beginner level works.
