Hi, my name is Jared and I am a drummer from Maryland. I have been a student of music for 22 years. My musical influences include formal education in rock, jazz, Latin, and contemporary Christian drumming. I have had the honor of playing on several albums, and traveling nationally and internationally for 10 years. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe in the potential of every student, and that every student has their own best learning style. In my lessons, you can expect help to find your best growth pace and experience immediate results! I like to tell my students that music is powerful and that it can have a profound influence in your life. My favorite thing about teaching is the personal relationships I develop with each student, and watching them grow their skills in music, as well as their love for it. My favorite performances have been playing in Prague and the Philippines. My students love that I care about them. I primarily teach drums, but I can also teach guitar and bass.
