My name is David Arthur. I am a Professional Recording Artist/Composer/Producer/Performer from Los Angeles, California. I am currently signed to FamousRecords/Universal Music Group. I also produce music for Film/Tv/Multimedia in both LA and NYC. I have a dual BM degree in Vocal Performance and Music Therapy from Arizona State University School of Music. I teach both Voice, Piano, Songwriting, and Audio Engineering Production. I have been playing the Piano since I was 11yrs old and Voice since I was 13yrs old. I teach all vocal fundamentals from: Breathe Support, Vocalise/Exercises, Diction, Sight Singing, Interpretation, and Performance. I also teach all Piano fundamentals: Sight Reading, Fingering Exercises/Scales, Interpretation, and Performance. I also help my students with self-esteem building as well to encourage a positive outlook on Vocal and Piano Performances. I also have more than 6 yrs of Professional Musical Theatre experience. My students will receive a complete all encompassing tutorial experience when studying under my instructions. What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students will learn Orchestration Fundamentals. Students will learn various sections of an Orchestra. I cover Form and Analysis to study Classical Orchestral works by the great Masters of Classical repertoire: JS Bach, Johannes Brahms to American Composers such as Samuel Barber. Students will also learn ranges of various Orchestral Instruments.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner - Intermediate
My Students can expect to learn all Audio Recording fundamentals: Various DAWsDigital Audio WorkStation and Music Software and Hardware. Students will learn various uses of Audio Effects: Compression, Reverb, Delays etc...and Students will learn how to build their own home studio recording setup.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
My Students can expect to learn all Piano Fundamentals: sight reading, fingering/scales, Interpretation, and Performance techniques.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

My Students can expect to learn all Vocal Performance Fundamentals: Breathe Support, Vocalise/Exercises, Sight Singing, Interpretation, Performance techniques, and Mic techniques.

My Students can expect to learn all Songwriting fundamentals: Song Format and Structure, Form and Analysis, and various Songwriting techniques such as use of Modulations, Major/ Minor Modes, and use of Melodic cells, and Music Theory.
