Hi, my name is Nicholas, and I am from Clinton, North Carolina. I have been a student of music for 16 years. My musical influences include art Tatum, Herbie Hancock, Bill Evans, Travis Sayles and many more. My teaching style can best be described as learning the basics so you can break the rules and develop your own style. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that anyone can learn piano with the right teaching and lots of practice you can play any style. In my lessons, you can expect to learn theory, correct fingering, sight reading as well as training by ear. My favorite thing about teaching is scales.
