I started playing drums when I was 10 on my family's farm in Ohio. I went through school know as "that drum kid" playing in the jazz band & marching band, with a couple of 4 & 5 piece combo's until I started playing country in the clubs & small venue's when I played with "Pure Country" & "The Stoney Bottom Band". We played the "Capitol Music Hall" In the Battle of the Bands in the "80's" doing quite well along with the small circut around the state. Then I moved south to Georgia in the late 80's
When I moved south I took a ten year break to establish a home & working environment, but then I picked the drums back up I have been doing it ever since. I started back on an electronic set but went back to the accoustic set within a year.
I now play on a set of TAMA Rockstar drums with Zildjian cymbals.
