Sarah G.
Vocal Lessons
Studio
Sarah began singing at the age of five. Over the years, she developed her skills further by joining choirs and seeking professional collegiate training. She gained performance experience in the Anaheim area by playing at such venues as Disney Land in their annual Candlelight Processional. Though Sarah can teach many genres of music, her musical personal favorites are opera and melodic metal which had great influence on her style of singing. Sarah loves music because it is a great form of self-expression and story telling and loves teaching music because it is a gift to share this expression with others. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Sarah can help you expand and enhance your vocals. Sarah is excited to learn how she can help you reach your musical goals. Degree and Field of Study:
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Students can expect to learn the style of their choosing with proper breathing and posture. They will also be taught musical theory and reading as is necessary or requested. We will go over the art of story telling through movement, volume, and facial expression. Those who do not know which style they would like to learn will also have the chance to sample around and find out what suits their voice and what makes them happiest. From there I will work to build my students up to be the best that they can be!
Formal Education:
4 years vocal performance at Concordia University Irvine both solo and choral
Performing Experience:
Performances in vocals have ranged from choirs large and small from around the age of 10. Solo performances started up in early high school and continued on throughout college
