Reese is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where he majored in piano performance. He has 14 years of Classical technique training, 10 years of Sacred music and Contemporary/Pop music experience, and 3 years of jazz training. Reese has played hundreds of public performances. As a Classical pianist, Reese is an accomplished soloist who specializes in Late-Romantic/20th Century Classical works. At GVSU, Reese received multiple music awards for his Classical performances. As a jazz artist, Reese has played in many jazz combos and with a big band regularly. In the future, Reese plans to attend UTK's jazz program as a masters student, to which he has already been accepted. Reese also regularly performs solo jazz at prestigious social events. Reese is an accomplished composer. At GVSU, he received multiple awards for his compositions, including Composer of The Year, People's Choice and First Place at the annual composer competition.
