What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Having collaborated on my own album, I seek to help young artists and vocalists create form and structure to their own melodic ideas and creativity. Working to bring out their own voice I use elements of theory, lyrical composition, poetry, and various forms of writing exercises to help build their songs and music for the ground up.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
I have had the professional experience of both the classical and contemporary industry. As a singer I have had to bridge many genres of music. I teach young and experienced singers how to utilize their own voice no matter the level of their professional or personal goals. My career has demanded that I be a flexible vocalist with the ability to blend diverse backgrounds and influences in a very high professional setting. I try to teach my own students how to use healthy classical pedagogical knowledge and ear training in order to use their voice in the genre of music they are most passionate about. Emphasizing language, text, and performance elements I seek to enhance the overall performer.
