Kesheaf was born in Jacksonville, Florida and he has always been a musician at heart. His purpose was realized at the age of five; he has vivid memories of being sensitive to the sound of music and the sight of creative illustrations. He is an individual that has an appreciation and knowledge of the arts and has a genuine love for teaching and mentoring. Kesheaf graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Performing Arts as a visual arts major and the Florida A&M University where he studied architecture and graphic design. “I am a musician first”, Kesheaf says. He views visual art as frozen sound and music as the sound of visual illustration. He offers others the opportunity to gain concept of music and artistic expression through practical examples.
Kesheaf Ke.- has over 20 years of music experience in the Fayetteville area.
Kesheaf Ke.- is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Record Engineer Produce .Degree and Field of Study:
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
I always take time to cover basics regardless of skill level. I like to empower students with the tools needed to produce full songs. This also includes mixing and mastering.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
It is necessary that the student has a guitar. They wouldn't be able to practice without one. Students should expect to know how to tune a guitar accurately. It's also important to know how to take care of a guitar. We won't get into maintenance or anything, but if you don't do certain things to tune and maintain guitar you will get discouraged because it won't have a desired sound. After that, scale exercises(major scales to start with) then chords(starting with open chords which are easiest to play). Rhythm exercises would be next. We will also go over the importance of knowing how to practice. A structure to your practice time will give you desired results. I normally discuss what the students favorite song is and we normally use it as a focus. If possible I go into teaching then their favorite song by the 3rd lesson after we cover some basics and I check their progress.
