Hi! My name is Joe and I love talking about, teaching and playing music! I am an aspiring audio engineer based in Hamilton, New Jersey. My first instrument was the trombone, then I switched to the bass guitar when I was 12. I picked up guitar and drums soon after. I graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in music production and industry. I have 7 plus years of guitar experience and have been playing in multiple bands for about 8 years. I have much experience working with audio recording programs such as Logic Pro and Pro Tools. I have been recording music for 8 plus years and have experience setting up microphones and mixing audio. What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
1. Students can expect to learn how to navigate the Logic Pro X software and utilize the various applications within it for personal use. 2. How to record and play MIDI instruments within the program and how to program software instruments (electronic drums and synthesizers). 3. How to mix, balance and EQ audio tracks. 4. How to record various instruments and discuss different microphone applications/techniques for home recording.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
1. Students can expect to learn how to properly tune a guitar and learn different types of tunings. 2. Learn various notes, chords and scales. 3. Students will be given different exercises to help reinforce lessons. 4. Students will learn songs of his/her choosing and will be given an introduction to various songwriting techniques.
