I took a master class with Victor Wooten and studied with various private instructors.
Performing Experience:
I have 45-yrs playing experience with:
Bass:
Broadway style bands in Chicago including Chorus Line, Cats, Les Miserable, Chicago
Blues, rock and cover bands in Chicago, Los Angeles, Montana and Washington
Trumpet:
Played in symphony and opera orchestras in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Singapore.
Rock, blues, big band, stage bands in Chicago and Missoula
Baroque trumpet in various churches
Experience Teaching:
General Music at Methodist Chinese Girls School in Singapore (1st grade thru 8th)
Private lessons in Chicago, Missoula and Coeur d'Alene
In addition hand position, picking style, I like to include harmony, sight reading and rhythm to give students a broader bacjground upon which to build
