Cliff is a New Orleans jazz guitarist and composer. He's the current guitar instructor at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA) which has produced such New Orleans greats as Wynton Marsalis, Nick Payton, Harry Connick Jr., and Trombone Shorty. His quintet recorded a cd in 2009 ("Like Mystics of Old") and is currently working on a second. The music video for their song "What Choice Do I Have?" was selected as one of 11 finalists in a national competition sponsored and Vh1's Save the Music. Their second music video, "Pastels" was filmed in front of a live audience at the Contemporary arts center.
Clifford Sa- has over 10 years of music experience in the Los Angeles area.

Formal Education:
My music education began in 7th grade jazz band at Lusher Extension. I graduated from Ben Franklin High School in 2007 for academics and the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA) for Jazz Instrumental. I had attended for all 4 years and graduated at the highest level available. I also attended the Educational Center for the Arts (ECA) for one semester in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. In 2010, I graduated from the University of New Orleans (UNO) with a Bachelor's in Jazz Performance.
Private Education:
I have studied under Steve Masakowski, Ed Petersen, Brian Seeger, Hank Mackie, John Rankin, Michael Pellera, Alvin Batiste, Davey Mooney, Gilad Hekselman, Dan Sumner, and many others
Performing Experience:
I have been gigging ever since eighth grade, when I first had a weekly gig at the Funky Butt. Notable performances include: The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, The Marciac Jazz Festival (France), Harvard University, Snug Harbor, One Eyed Jacks, The New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center, The Blue Nile
Experience Teaching:
I have been an instructor at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts since 2007 as both a guitar instructor and a combo director. I currently also give guitar lessons at the Jewish Community Center.
