20 Years
I am a music teacher who specializes in teaching any kind of guitar with strings on it from bass to steel guitar, classical to electric. I have played for 23 years and I love teaching all kinds of music. I have the desire to teach others what I have learned. Music is my passion and I hope to inspire many others to play just as I have been inspired to keep playing all these years by my father who learned how to play guitar with me. I would love to teach others whatever they would like to learn and personally grow from the experience. I have played all across the country and I have played with all types of musicians. I love playing anytime, anywhere, for anyone or no one!
Jason U. has over 20 years of music experience in the Marion area.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
My method on teaching varies from student to student because there are no two students alike. For those who have no idea about anything to do with the guitar i start from scratch with the basics and i show them what every part of the guitar is called and why it is the way it is, also how to tune a guitar as well as learn the strings and notes. For more advanced students i skip that jazz and i simply ask them if they want to learn more songs, notes, scales, chords, theory. Whatever they are interested is what i focus the most on while throwing the rest in along side it. I try to keep the student as interested as possible, some have shorter attention spans then others and for them maybe i will do 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes. others who are really into it and do not want to leave i may teach them for an hour and that often turns into 2 or 3 hours of just jamming and having fun at no extra cost because without students a miestro is nothing but a musician playing music. i love to play along with students so they are more prepared when they go out and make music with others musicians and they can stay in time with a drummer more easily.
