I grew up in Toledo, OH and began drumming and taking lessons at the age of 13. I joined everything I possibly could that related to music in H.S. I played in the Jazz, Marching, Pep and Concert bands. Upon graduating I received the Paul Chudzinski "Top Percussionist award". After H.S. I went to college for Recording and Audio Engineering. I learned many useful tools that I still use to this day and that pertain to drumming greatly. After that I made the decision to move to Hollywood, CA to further my education in drumming. It was the best decision I ever made. I studied under the industries top musicians, through a total of 61 courses over 1.5 years. Some of the courses included live performance, music theory, ear training, Latin, Jazz and studio drumming. After graduating I decided to move to Austin, TX where I reside to this day. I'm currently working with a couple artists and play live on a regular basis.

Private Education:
Took lessons from ages 13-17 from Paul Neift out of Toledo, OH.
In college I took lessons with some of the industries top musicians such as: Latin Master Chuck Silverman, Funk drumming from David Salinas, improv from Stewart Jean, Digital and Groove drumming from Donny Gruendler and Jazz from none other then Tim McIntyre and Chuck Flores.
Performing Experience:
I have performed with many bands over the years from Metal to Jazz, Prog Rock and Pop. Versatility is one of the most important parts of a successful musician and that is one of the key subjects in my teaching.
Experience Teaching:
I taught a total of 7 different paying students in the Toledo area before attending Musicians Institute.
I managed lesson plans for each student, taking into account their particular skill set, musical taste and progression. I love teaching kids and young adults, it's a passion of mine but my expectations don't change because of their age.
