Betty began playing piano at the age of 5. Over the years, she developed her skills further by receiving a bachelors degree in music education from the conservatory of music in Chicago. She gained performance experience by competing in isma contest. Betty loves singing opera and has gained experience as an opera vocalist at south suburban college for several opera workshops. Though Betty can teach many genres of music, her musical personal favorites are classical songs which had great influence on her style of playing. Betty loves music because it is her passion and loves teaching music because it makes her happy to help students play and sing well.
