Hi, my name is Dylan and I am a percussionist from South Euclid OH. I have been a student of music for 15 years. My musical influences include Buddy Rich, Evelyn Glennie and I also enjoy experimental/ world music. My teaching style can best be described as student first learning. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that Everyone learns differently and that requires paying attention to the small details that could make or break a lesson. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the basics of counting and understanding how to read notations. I like to tell my students that you will learn at your own pace. Be patient and take things slow. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the students break through on their lessons. My favorite performance was. Seeing My first indoor percussion competition, from that day on I was obsessed. My students love that I make lessons fun and focus on how to strengthen their chops. I primarily teach drum set, but I can also teach Marching. Percussion, mallets and hand percussion. My approach as a teacher is to make you a better musician then I am.
