Hi, my name is Tarina and I live and breathe music. I have been a student of music for 20 years. My musical influences include Opera and blues, but I also enjoy rock and hip-hop. My teaching style can best be described as "learn by doing". My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I will help guide you to your best performance. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the basic skills that span all genres as well as the small details that will allow you to perform at your best. I like to tell my students that the rehearsal room is a safe playground where you should experiment with the music. My favorite performance was my first solo of "O Holy Night". My students love that I am encouraging and fun! I primarily teach classical, but I can also teach pop, blues or jazz.
